This is a blog about pretty little things that I like, about style and crafting, about life, joy and colour.

More from me...
Dear fellow bloggers,
Please excuse my third post in the last few minutes, but as I'm a baby blogger I'm taking my first steps... There are some more things I'd like to show you today.
Remember the post about my personal style? I told you about my angel collection - you can see one painting above my head, on our living room wall; there's an angel brooch on my cardi; and here are some photos of my favourite bracelets I crafted myself (I got the idea from Eclectic Shock - http://eclecticshock.net/). You can see my beloved angels there as well.
And the last pic is today's outfit:
dress - Benetton
top (underneath the sweater) - H&M
sweater - local brand
scarf - Benetton
shoes - Italian brand
bag - Mango
I believe this is it for today!
Have a wonderful evening,
Mojca.
Christening!
On Sunday we attended the christening of my brother-in-law's grandson. This is what I wore:
dress - Labod (Slovenian brand, means 'swan')
cardi - Ivko (brand from Serbia, they make absolutely gorgeous stuff)
http://www.ivko-knits.com/trikotazaIvkoEng.php
scarf - Kokoska (Slovenian brand)
purse - came as a gift with Axcent watch
shoes - something Italian
I hope I'll manage to download the photo properly, I've just had tutorials from my husband!
Take care,
Mojca.

My Personal Style - Angels & Blossoms
Dear fellow bloggers, I promise I will put every effort into posting photos over the weekend, but for now let me keep you in suspense with a written description of my personal style.
First of all, I'd like to share with you why my blog is titled 'Angels & Blossoms'. I have always been extremely fond of any kind of accessories (I get that from my mum), you know, brooches, scarves, purses etc. etc. In the last few years I have developed a particularly strong passion for angel accessories - and not just any kind of angels. There is a lovely little art gallery in our capital, Ljubljana, where you can get absolutely gorgeous brooches (among other things, of course) with little angels, painted by an artist from Croatia. She is very well-known in her country, and also in Slovenia. I fell in love with her art several years ago and now I am a keen collector of her angels. My darling husband understands my passion, so I am presented with several pieces from the gallery ( be it a reproduction of a painting, a piece of jewellery, a bag, a T-shirt...) every time I celebrate anything. Which, of course, gives me great pleasure! Anyway, for the last few years now I don't go out of the house without an angel brooch or pendant. For some reason (well, I like flowers!), I started adding flower brooches next to my angels, and because I really liked the way this turned out, it has become my signature (I know, you need photos. Soon, I promise!). I wear angel and flower brooches on my T-shirts, jackets, scarves... - wherever there's room for them!
As far as colours go, I like vivid, bright colours combined with neutrals. I don't wear a lot of black or white, but I like neutrals like beige, chocolate brown and navy. My all-time favourite colour is green and my favourite colour combination is green with pink (possibly fuchsia, or burgundy red). I usually wear casual clothes (I work from home so I don't 'have to' wear smart clothes every day, but I don't want to spend all day in sweats) and I spend most of my days in flats. I put on heels for special occasions ( but every now and then an ordinary day feels like a special occasion as well...).
Apart from my angel and flower brooches, I don't leave my home without bracelets and earrings; I have some favourite items which I will show you at one point, and I also make my own jewellery, so there is never a lack of accessories in my wardrobe. I also like hats, particularly in winter, and one of my favourite outfits includes wearing leather boots in summer, with no tights.
OK, enough for now, as it gets boring without pictures, doesn't it? I hope you all have a lovely weekend.
Take care!

Wedding Anniversary!
Hello, dear fellow bloggers, my husband and I are celebrating our 14th wedding anniversary today, so this will only be a quick note. As I have already told you, September is an important month for us - we got married exactly (to the day) seven years after becoming a couple, the day before yesterday our daughter turned five and our son had his 8th birthday in June (take away nine months and you get... September!)... I still haven't got round to downloading photos - the one in the profile is about a year old (downloaded by my husband), from our last year's trip to Vienna, Austria.
I hope I can post some outfit photos soon, as this was the original intention for starting this blog. Have a lovely evening everyone,
Love, Biba.

Hello!
This is my very first attempt at blogging. I have been following style and craft blogs for about a year now and I am taking the plunge myself! I promise there will be photos to see and (hopefully) something interesting to read but I have to learn how to download photos from my camera first! I have wanted to start the blog this month though, as September is a very eventful month in our family. More about it in later blog entries...
Take care,
Biba.
