About these trousers. Not too flattering, are they?
I quite liked the fabric and the cut seemed alright but they just didn't fit well. So I wore them once and then said good bye. I'm sure there's a pair of legs with a bottom attached somewhere that will find them absolutely adorable.
I'm definitely keeping the jacket, though!
- brogues - Joules - burgundy socks - home stash - trousers - local store - shirt - Nara Camicie - jacket - Boden - angel brooch - birthday present
I wore this to church last Sunday. I love the mixing of patterns - tartan & argyle, I feel oh so British! I don't really know if proper Brits actually wear such things but never mind :) As long as I'm happy ...
I can't seem to be able to get enough of my Boden brogues. They're fabulous! I want to wear them as long as possible before we get snowed in (not any time soon, pretty please!!!).
This is something I would really like to share with you - 100 % natural hand creams and lip balms from Figs & Rouge, made in the U.K. (music to my ears ...) and sold in the prettiest packages possible. I'm a big fan because nothing really beats a crazy colourful tube of lotion or potion being pulled out of one's handbag, does it :) ?
P. S.: This is definitely not a sponsored post (I sort of wish it were ...). I really really like this brand, that's all.
Do I look like a Granny? I was supposed to, anyway, because this was the outfit I chose to play my little girl's Grandma in a play we performed at the local nursing home :) I added my reading glasses, to be on the safe side ...
I absolutely loved the outfit and wore it the entire day (the play was in the morning). To be honest, I didn't feel like anyone's Grandma (yet ...).
Dear me, what am I saying, I have two babies of my own!
I came across this lovely felting wool the other day. Only one piece, I'm afraid, that's all there was.
I really loved the colour but I didn't have any intention whatsoever to actually give felting a try ... I wanted to use it for my crochet bliss :) So I did. I came up with this:
A neck-warmer! What a clever idea!
Then I got some (more of this) felting wool in red as well - and produced another, a bit longer neck-warmer (one you can use as a fake roll-neck...). I decided it was a perfect present for a crochet-loving friend of mine :)
