An Outfit

Sorry, I'm still being creative but not yet taking pictures of the results. An outfit it is, then. I love its simplicity and the fact that it's extremely comfortable - on a miserable day like this! We still have plenty of snow, would you believe it, and I've heard there's been plenty of sunshine in Yorkshire today! So unfair!!! :)

I'm wearing:

- shoes - local shop (which, sadly, no longer exists...)
- skinny jeans - miss bonbon
- cardi - local boutique (sounds fancier than 'shop', doesn't it?)
- shirt - Playlife
- scarf - Laura Ashley (husband's gift on honeymoon!)

Weekly Gratitude

Yay, I've managed to download an image! And I'm still using my H's machine! So, this week I'm grateful for:

- the fact that only my computer has come down with viruses and that my family is all well...
- pretty little things that make my life more colourful and happier
- our trip to the capital last week and the delicious lunch we had there
- the 'wisdom' of my two children - they're such smarties!
- the ideas I get for crafting from my friends

Well, I might even manage to download my own pics sometime...

Sheep Again!

I've said it before: I love this pendant. Adore it. It feels like wearing a piece of my absolutely favourite part of the world around my neck. Which is why I wear it a lot. You'll see plenty of it on this blog. I'm so grateful to Aileen that she's come up with such a wonderful idea!

I must tell you that I'm at an incredibly creative stage in my life at the moment. As far as crafting is concerned, that is. I have so much to show you and will do in the following days, as soon as I can get away from my crafting for a while and neatly arrange the items to be photographed.

I've been crocheting like mad, making felt purses and brooches and bracelets and key rings, and enjoying every minute of it!

I do get dressed in the meantime, and it doesn't take a lot of time to have outfit pics taken, so here they are...

This hat was hand-knitted and -embroidered by my Mum. I love it to bits, it's so pretty! And it comes with a matching set of mittens, yay!

P.S.: Edited to add: my computer is severly ill. It's come down with some horrible viruses and has been hospitalized. I'm using my H's computer again but I'm not quite as skilled to work with it (I'm exaggerating, of course; I'm not skilled to work with any computer, full stop :) ). I'll take a short break from blogging and perhaps only scribble down (in a manner of speaking) a few words with no pics - sorry!

Stripy Tunic

I love this tunic. Despite its muted colours it looks really happy. And makes me that way, too. Add the lovely sunrays coming in through my window and it all adds up to bliss!
