The adjective obviously refers to the colour of my Sunday outfit, not my mood. I wore my (almost) vintage Laura Ashley dress which I bought in Tunbridge Wells in 1994 (same time as this jumpsuit - they were both on sale). The dress is slightly too big now and the cut - especially the upper part - is not very up-to-date but I cannot bring myself to have it altered, I simply adore it just as it is. Even though I rarely wear it on its own...
I think that with the puff-sleeved cardi, a giant corsage and a pair of heels it actually looks quite nice. More than anything, I really love the pattern. It's so 'her', isn't it?
I've had these shoes for quite some time, I usually wear them to church and they're timeless, I think. The heel is not too high and they're actually quite comfortable, I just never think of them as my everyday footwear. Perhaps I should...
Would you have it altered? At one point I was thinking about cutting the sleeves off... Any ideas?
Oooh I love Laura Ashley clothes, they always have such pretty prints. I think this dress is great how it is but would also like really nice short sleeved, maybe change it for next summer and re-invent it :)
