Name Day

I celebrated my name day yesterday. It was the Feast of Annunciation, when the angel Gabriel announced to the Virgin Mary that she would conceive and become the mother of Jesus, the Son of God. My first name is a form of 'Mary' in our language. We also celebrate Mother's Day in our country on March 25.

I got lots of lovely goodies from my little ones, they both know exactly what melts their Mum's heart... The pot plant was a gift from my Mum-in-law, and I got a gorgeous pair of shoes from my husband - upon request, in which case, of course, I got exactly what I wanted (to be seen...)!
