I love this time of year.

Out Again!

After two weeks in bed with the worst case of flu it feels wonderful to be out and about again, even on a dull and cloudy day like today. I took a brisk walk while my little girl was at her church class and enjoyed the winter landscape slowly dropping its winter attire.

I'm completely ready for spring!

Places In 2012 - Part II

Beware, another photo overload! Our seaside holiday this year. We always take our bikes along and cycle quite a lot. There are absolutely wonderful cycling paths along the (albeit rather short) Slovenian coast. We always stay at a place called Portorose ('the port of roses', for some reason), but the following photos are from our cycling trip to the town called Koper / Capodistria, where we did a bit of sightseeing as well. Some breathtaking views!

Places In 2012 - Part I

Right, since I failed blogging about our trip to Venice in July due to my lazy photo downloading skills, here are some memories of our adventure at the end of the year. When we were there, it was boiling hot and the trip was rather exhausting, especially for our littles. Looking back, it was lovely. So, this is it: Venice on 28 July, 2012. Enjoy. Summer Walks

Some pretty views I enjoy on my (almost) daily walks. These were taken back in July & August, so the scenery has changed a bit since then (no more gorgeously golden wheat fields...). I'll try to update the post with some autumnal views - trust me, they're just as gorgeous!
