Sorry!

Right, so sorry about that. Last year apparently wasn't exactly my best blogging year. I stopped publishing sometime in October, even though there were many ideas at the back of my mind that I wanted to share with you. I kept taking pictures for a while but once I realized I couldn't find any time for posting them I stopped that as well.

We're well into the new year already, my birthday has passed (I always associate my birthday with Christmas & New Year holidays, as I was born on January 6), and hopefully my blogging energy will restore. I did something a good blogger would never do, I guess, I posted the old photos with the approximate dates they were meant to be posted - once again, sorry about that. I can't promise to be a regular contributor in 2015 but I will do my best. I still very much enjoy following your blogs, though!

And if my blog is a sort of an unfinished project, here's another one! I've wanted to crochet a blanket for aaages, and I've had these granny squares made for at least two years, but I somehow can't bring myself to actually finish the darn thing. So here's to a challenge in 2015! Will keep you posted on the progress, I promise!

My Crochet Mandalas

I've been hooked too, by Lucy's crochet mandalas
as many of you in the blogland.

Here's my 'list' so far:

The one with the green edge is going to Yarndale, yay!

Water Is Good For You

Especially if it comes in a lovely bottle
with a crochet cover :)

Inspired by Lucy, of course.

Spring Is In The Air ...

... and on the rucksack!

Here's the story: this was my old Head rucksack which had been in my possession since my early teens (a long time ago ...). It had lain all forgotten at my parents' house until my little girl found it. And decided it was to be her favourite as well ...

She carries her music school paraphernalia in it and loves it dearly. I thought it looked a bit plain (it did, honestly!) and I decided to embellish it a little ...

My way. Luckily, my way is pretty much the same as my little girl's way - she has definitely inherited my taste for everything colourful and pretty. She loves that.

So, I'm happy to say ...

... she loves her 'new' rucksack as well!

Flowers For A Little Girl

A scarf for a little girl, born last December.

Welcome to the world, little K.!

Three Things (And Five Photos)

1* As Lucy would put it - I'm ridiculously happy about my new coat hooks! I've been wanting something like these forever - now I've found them I'm over the moon! Totally and completely!

I got two sets just to make sure there's enough colourful cheerful prettiness in my home :)

2* The work is finished! Done! Over with!

And I like the result. The above photo was made because I loved the colours. The bottom one shows where this crochet burst of spring actually lives :)

3* My little girl's new top! Isn't it gorgeous? The cotton top was a hand-me-down from her best friend and the crochet doily was made by her godmother. Ideal combination, wouldn't you say?

She absolutely adores it :)

As usual, inspired by the lovely Lucy from Attic 24.

And her gorgeous crochet wreaths.

Will definitely ...

... keep you posted!

Standing for: Mad About Wrist Warmers!

Another pair I made from an old jumper - embellished with a pair of felt earrings made by my lovely friend Marysia :)

And a pair I crocheted a while ago, with pretty little corsages made by my blogging friend Alix :)

I told you I was mad ...

... about wrist warmers ... :)

Only Blossoms

A little corsage I made to brighten up
my already bright knitted beret :)

I used thick felting wool
which shrinks by 40 % when washed.
Should keep this in mind ...

The fabric, of course,
is Liberty Tana Lawn.
Teeny tiny scraps of it ...
I keep them all :)

The beret came from Benetton. Years ago.
As good as new now, though!
