Tulchan Surprise

A while ago I got a surprise mail from Tulchan. Would I be willing to review one of their cardigans from the new collection if they sent it to me? Would I??? 

I was contacted by Gemma, Tulchan's Digital & Direct Marketing Executive, and I was absolutely thrilled. Over the moon. Tickled pink. The cardigan on the photo was gorgeous. It was even more so when it arrived. I mean, look at it!

Gemma told me she had been reading my blog and she liked the way I had styled my Tulchan pieces. I have a great many Tulchan pieces, FYI, Tulchan is one of my favourite brands. It took me a while to come up with styling ideas for this beauty. And finally, ta-dah ...

 Am officially a VBB - a very bad blogger :( Time seems to fly and what with all sorts of things to be done - from PTA meetings to home improvements I can't seem to be able to find the time to blog.

An Outfit, At Last!

Well, it's been a while, hasn'it? It's not that I don't get out of my pyjamas every morning, it's just that it doesn't really occur to me to take a photo every day - I think of that in the evening when I browse other people's blogs - and by that time I'm quite possibly already wearing my pyjamas ... :)

Anyway, I spotted (rather appropriate, don't you think?) this gorgeous dress on e-bay the other day - it's Boden but I don't remember it from the last few seasons so it must be from a few years ago. I loved the colour and it really was a bargain!

It cost less than my Joules bangles ...

Purple Cycling

I love the colours in this outfit. Purple is not one of my favourite colours but this particular shade is "tolerable", as Mr Darcy would say about Miss Elizabeth Bennet :).

Palm Sunday outfit. I traditionally wear this coat every Palm Sunday. It sort of goes with the theme (not exactly palm leaves there, but you get the idea ...).

This year I paired it with my tweed skirt and peplum jumper, and to spice it up a bit, I put some greens next to my blues :)

This silk embroidered belt from Brora still makes my heart jump with joy whenever I lay my eyes on it. Isn't it just one of the prettiest things ever? And it was on sale, too, all those years ago :) A bargain!

Oh dear, my blog has been hibernating! So sorry about that. There are still some yummy outfits on the camera to share from before the warmer springy weather so here we go.

Not my usual colour scheme, black, but every once in a while I feel the need to air my black clothes - just in case. I desperately need very bright pops of colour to go along, though.

And the dress is grey, anyway, so not all black :)

Oooh, I totally adore this combination! Isn't it just ... perfect? I know, I know, slightly overexcited here, but let's be honest - what's not to love?

A Winter Coat In April?

OK, I admit, this set of photos was taken a couple of weeks ago - forgotten and later rediscovered on my camera! Since I liked the outfit I'm posting it anyway. 

I have always liked mixing elegant and casual pieces, and the classic camel coat paired with a pair of floral plimsols is exactly what I have in mind when approaching the subject! It's quite cool, isn't it? I'm not quite sure I'm supposed to put that in writing, though ... :)

The indoor version of the outfit was casual from head to toe: a pair of skinny jeans and a jumper! I threw in a floral scarf and a couple of corsages for good measure!

 

I purchased these Cath Kidston plimsols last year - they're exactly the same as my Converse All Stars yet at a fraction of the price! Go figure!

I don't normally wear trousers to church on Sundays but this outfit could easily pass for my Sunday best, don't you think? It's actually quite simple but with all the accessories it still feels very 'me'. 

I was absolutely stunned when this pair of Boden Bistro Trousers arrived in the post - I had no idea that my angel bag was the perfect match. Meant to be, obviously!

Oh, and check the earrings, this hand-made lace is utterly and completely stunning. Love love love!
