Friday Black

Last Friday's outfit. I'm still wearing black on Fridays. And every 16th day of the month. I quite like the challenge of putting together black outfits. And I usually add only a touch of colour... hello, Boden coat!

My hair looks a bit funny here, I've just returned from the hairdresser's. My roots were all grey. I'm an old lady, people!

I'm wearing:

- flats - Stroll (hand-me-downs from best friend's daughter)
- tights - Polzela (local brand)
- skirt - Labod (local brand)
- top - Get
- cardi - Wallis
- coat - Boden (never seen before?)
- angel accessories & these earrings

Off to a birthday drink with my girlfriends, have a great weekend!

More Black & A Touch Of Gold

Another set of pictures with self-timer - I'm learning! Not very quickly but still...

The kiddies & I drove to the capital today to see Toy Story 3 - it was lovely, we all enjoyed it. Plus some new acquisitions will soon be featured on this blog!

I'm wearing:

gold flats - Buffalo London (the most comfortable pair of footwear I've ever owned)
black skinny trousers - Mana
gold belt - local shop
top - Dorothy Perkins
cardi - TopShop
all accessories same as yesterday

I really liked the way my accessories came together yesterday which is why I decided to repeat the whole thing with today's outfit!

Have a lovely weekend, everyone!

Wind Of Change

I was fiddling with my blog template last night and then I didn't know how to retrieve the old one - I've never been very skilled at anything technical...

This is the closest one I could find, with as little 'disturbance' as possible; I don't really want too many colours or pictures in the background as the pics I post are usually bursting with colour.

I really liked my old template, for its simplicity, and it'll take some time before I get used to the new one.

But hey, changes are good, right?

Will you still visit, dear friends?

Shall I Or Shan't I?

I'm thinking about having my hair cut in a slightly different way. I really really like the hair of my style icon, the Norwegian princess Martha Louise. It always looks perfect! And never ever 'overdone'. I do realise that there are professionals around her to take care of her public appearance but I also like to think that she's quite low-maintenance.

I have a feeling that a hairstyle like hers would look quite acceptable on my head as well.

I had a similar cut some time ago and I was very happy about it. I'm getting really bored with my hair at the moment, I'm desperate for a change.

Any tips? Do you like Martha Louise's hair? My old haircuts? Help me, please!
