Sun Loungers Are Great!

Things for a Great Garden

Summer’s finally here and nothing is feeling happier about it than your garden. If you’re keen to get your garden looking beautiful again, and are ready to unlock its full potential this summer, there are so many steps you can take. From investing in a few select pieces of furniture, to simply planting some grass seeds and weeding it thoroughly, there’s no limit to the benefits of having a great garden space.

You’ll be the envy of your friends with that beautiful, bright and relaxing little place in your house. Here are a few ideas to pick and choose from that will get you spending more time in the garden.

Plant some grass

If your garden is lacking in lawn, then planting some grass seed is a very fast and inexpensive way to get it looking inviting. Simply rake the existing soil, pull out any large rocks, dig up the weeds and plant some grass! This can be bought from any DIY or home improvement store and will grow green and lush within a week.

Table and chairs

If you have a paved garden then a table and chairs are a great way to add an al fresco dining option to your garden. Outdoor furniture is available to suit all sizes and shapes of garden, and can accommodate even the strictest of budgets. Whether it’s durable plastic or treated wood, there’s something for everyone. Garden furniture is a great addition when you want to host an impromptu outdoor drinks party or even just to have a few light snacks while sunbathing.

Sun loungers

Sun loungers are great for lazy days out in the sun, providing comfort and unparalleled relaxation. Again, they are available in a range of styles to suit every wallet. You’ll find it really opens up the outdoor space as an area to enjoy the weather without having to join the masses in the country’s parks and beaches.

Barbeques

Barbeques are the ultimate summer accessory. Again, there are many models available from gas to coal in a range of sizes. If you’re planning to have quite a few barbeques this summer then it may be a wise investment, as disposable models rarely last for the whole afternoon and can rack up the expenses.

P.S.: This is another sponsored post. Catherine, who works for an advertising agency, has contacted me again and asked if I was willing to publish this article on behalf of the company she works for.

As I love reading in the shade of our apple tree, this seemed really fitting. I hope you don't mind!

Three Things

Making me happy these days:

- vibrant red poppies

- fuchsias blooming in a hanging basket outside our garage

- apples on our apple tree, ready to be picked - yum!

Wishing you all a lovely weekend :)

We're off again to our annual family picnic in the woods!
